Connecting CD Player to a BMW Cassette Player

Recommended Posts

Ive got a CD Player (not radio) that I want to connect to a BMW E34 Cassette Radio Player.

I have to change the Plug on the CD Player to fit the BMW CD Stacker plug. Can anyone help me to

connect the right colour wires please.

CD player has 9 wires - 2 grey, 1 red, 1 orange, 1 black, 1 purple, 1 blue, 1 brown, 1 bare.

BMW Plug wire has - 1 red/1 white bound together, 1 green/1 blue/1 bare bound together, 1 orange/1 yellow/ 1 brown/1 purple/1 black/1 bare all surrounded by another bare wire.

Anyone have any ideas please????????

Cheers

Hans

Hans, do you need to have a CD changer? Adding an ipod/phone is easy if your e34 stereo is the standard NZ one with AUX IN.
