Dnz 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2005 Are you sure that a 318 is a candidate for a true coilover suspension? Judging by the spelling, it might be a tad much to sink into your car...?
Surge 1 Report post Posted September 7, 2005 Really low and handling mint doesn't necessary corellate. Be prepared to fork out for new tyres every 6 months as I've found with the 325i on superlows - thank god I have an abundance of wheels. That or modify the suspension as mentioned on here before which I'm planning on getting around to!

Guest Spargo Report post Posted September 10, 2005 Ground Control Coilovers with adj spring perches, or KW Variant 2's. Both will go low and handle bloody well. You'll also need to notch your subframe for adjustable camber, and be prepared to spend around 5k, to have what you want, ie: the best of both worlds: low and nimble, usually without tonnes of cash, these two are mutually exclusive.
