bravo 35 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 (edited) This place in the states sell a shitty CD-ROM for M50, M52, S52 conversions for the E30 as well as conversion kits. A fully reconditioned (they call it remanufacturered) S52 will set you back US$5k plus you'll need various other bits (which they also sell - it is possible to buy EVERYTHING you need form them if you want, but you wouldn't, so don't). So if any of you are thinking about doing this, don't because these guys don't know sh*t and the CD-ROM is a load of crap. Guest Spargo Report post Posted September 12, 2005 IGNORE EVERYTHING IN THE PREVIOUS POST That CD is sh*t. Go to www.r3vlimited.com if you want GOOD information on the DOHC conversion. There is a 50+ page thread on everything you need to know, and a dedicated sub forum.
bravo 35 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 I take it you've seen it? Hmmm, was recommended to me by some yank. Glad no-one rushed out and bought it then. :thumb: Cilk
Guest Spargo Report post Posted September 12, 2005 They know their sh*t alright, but the CD is overpriced, doesn't cover it all, and they like to add stuff that you blatantly don't need for the swap. Better info for free > orca.
