i dont know how many of you read the british "total bmw" magazine, or "performance bmw" but they always have ads for euro tuning and aftermarket specialists. now ive been thinking about the prices and there very interesting/compeditive... less than 1000 nzd for a full (replica) m3, mtech, GTR or sport kit... tinted and clear lens for every imaginable light, DTM and m3 mirrors, splitters, spoilers, eyebrows for all e30 and 36 bimmers, even rare alpina and ac replica mags. i cant however tell you the quality or fit of these kits and parts, but its very interesting all the same... perhaps a group purchase to split the horrendous postage from europe? just a thought....

Yeah, I have noticed that too, there are all manner of places selling aftermarket Bimmer bits and pieces, and prices much better than available here, or in the USA.

However, a lot of the adverts look a bit dodgy, and that quality may not be the highest. It aould be helpful to see many of the items in person before getting them all the way across here.

Cheers

Dont spend more than $400 nz on each shippment or you will be hit by customs for the GST as well .If the GST on your order is less than $50 they just let it through no charge.

As we found out on the Urethane bush group buy.

If the total is more than $400nz you will have to pay GST (as we did)

If the total is more than $1000nz you will have to pay duty (if it is a dutyable item/s, which we didn't thank goodness)

Look on the customs website and it has all the duty rates etc...
