bravo 35 Report post Posted October 7, 2005 In case most of you are no longer reading my "oh-so-boring" gearbox thread, I am after the following for next to nothing (a beer in it for you maybe?) Bracket that holds the rear of the pressed steel shift console to the car - I have the rubber mount, but no bracket or bolt. Rubber firewall grommet where master cylinder goes through. Accelerator stop. Clutch stop - if there is one (I'm not sure). Cheers
Gus 5 Report post Posted October 7, 2005 just take the auto accelerator stop out.....you dont need one no clutch stop either so just those two other things
bravo 35 Report post Posted October 8, 2005 Clutchstop was there under the carpet I just didn't use my eyes. Accerlator stop helps stop the cable stretching everytime you hit max throttle. I just removed the spring from the auto one and adjusted it so there is no "kickdown" Gives that nice steel against steel sound when you pound the pedal, so sorted there too. So just the grommet and bracket please. I don't want to bleed my clutch line twice so I'd really love to find that grommet before I attach the clutch line to the master cyl.
