The McLaren P1 Test. On Road and Track - /CHRIS HARRIS

Recommended Posts

The P1 sure looks good. From all the reports I have read it does seem a level or 2 above the 918, but we will have to wait until La Ferrari is out to see who is king.

My prediction - La Ferrari is faster in a straight line (just), whereas P1 will be the quickest on track, and on big F1 tracks it will be in a different class.

You'd hope it was faster as I don't think the LaFerrari is limited ( P1 limited to 217 ).

I think there will be an ass hair in it on paper, but the McLaren will trump it on the track. The question now is who will be able to get them all together the quickest, my money would be on Sport Auto. But I'd bet Ferrari will do everything they can to keep the cars apart as long as possible.
