Ive owned the car a week. 1993 540i So im standing in the rainbows end carpark with a car I cant touch for fear of it sounding off while mum and son are no doubt flying around the log flume. Lukeprusher 13 Report post Posted April 12, 2014 There should be a box somewhere in the car, (mines in the engine bay), you should have a little key just for this that fits into the box and turns it on and off.
aja540i 1906 Report post Posted April 12, 2014 If its the factory alarm open the door, put the key in the ignition and turn to second click, that should disarm it, then drive to shop and buy new remote battery.
sonic_attack 89 Report post Posted April 12, 2014 Thank god for smartphones.. Ripped the fuse out from under the seat. Lost my computer? dash display but disarmed the alarm and immobaliser for the time being. I actually thought the hazards/headlight strobe effect was kinda cool, the horn noise was a bit grating though. Onward and upward! Thanks for the replies. Ta.
