Seat belt Slider - stop button missing

Can anyone suggest a solution for the button that stops the seat belt clip from sliding to the floor?

I am sick of scrounging around on the ground for it!

I went to a seat belt place and they said they don't sell them as they can weaken the seat belt and you had to get a new belt and mechanism!!!

I already have the puncture marks in the seat belt where it was, what a crock of LTSA / P.C bull crap!!!

Surely there is a replacement little plastic button we can refit to the existing holes or carefully push through a new one....?
