whitefoxxx 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) Hey guys, (sorry if i have posted this in the wrong thread) I am currently looking at purchasing a e46 wagon, but i would like one with the electric leather interior. My question is, if anyone knows, if i were to purchase a e46 wagon that had the standard cloth interior, if the plugs would still be behind dash etc if i purchased the leather interior and heated seat control panel from a wreck Or in other words would everything be there in the cloth interior model to swap in the leather interior and have it fully functional (like seat heaters, position memory etc) Thanks in advance Edited June 26, 2014 by whitefoxxx

Neal 546 Report post Posted June 27, 2014 Many of the seat sections you'll also find the leather will unclip for the sections and can be transferred to cloth seats and vice versa. I found this when I converted my rear seat to a ski hatch version. Ski hatch was cloth , so unclipped and change over existing leather. Sometimes on ebay you'll see the leather coverings for sale which gives you another source of leather options.
whitefoxxx 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2014 sweet thanks guys, from that link it looks as though you may be able to get a plug and play loom somwhere along the lines. I am interested in the leather as its harder wearing and easier to clean mainly i did try searching but was probably using the wrong key words :/ thanks again
