You don't see M1's up for sale often, let alone a Gruppe 4.

I'd paypal someone a couple of bucks to help out :P

BMW certainly made a few more than three of those, and I had heard of one in NZ-I saw this ad a few weeks ago, and the way I read it, it sounded like a replica?

gmccormack is correct on this.... it's got nothing to do with BMW. Everson's was a workshop in Mt Roskill AKL which did car repairs and did alot of performance/ hot rod mod's for the market and they built 3 cars called the EMW, which was built from a space frame and made of Aluminum body along with the high performance V8.

This company which I understand is no longer around was a highly respected within the Hot Rod Industry for workmanship.

It's not a BMW M1, it's a EMW. Everson Motor Works replica, chev V8 powered

Thanks PT, my memory was a bit hazy on this but I was pretty sure it wasn't a proper one. Incidentally, the M1's were all built to compete under group 4 rules, but (Lamborghini) took too long to build, and they were basically obsolete by the time they were finished. Still BMW's only supercar to date, and certainly very sought after... Edited by conrod
