Help! Crazy E46 Dash Lights

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I really need some help with my e46 dash. So for the last week its been turned on and left to run twice as iv been driving the e30 daily. And today i was walking past it and noticed all the dash lights on, so i go get my key to unlock it and see whats happening but the lock/unlock doesnt work from my key.

So i manually unlocked it and sat down to see what lights have gone off (attached is what i found).

I turn it on and everything is as per normal, then when i turn it off its back to the dash light circus.

I am yet to drive it but will report back and hopefully it drives okay since i booked in a service preemptively and was not expecting it to screw up after just a week of sitting. I have encounted limp mode before and hope it doesnt happen again.

Any information or help would be GREATLY appreciated

Thank you in advance!post-51605-14100506343961.jpgpost-51605-14100506468383.jpg

Apparantly my car has decided to have cruise control after 9 years of it not having cruise control. As shown by the warning light. Its amazing how it can spawn factory options out of thin air.

Fuse #43 is not blown as some forums may suggest

Is the battery ok , If flat or naffed battery can cause this sort of thing. If not I would suggest getting it scanned to see what faults are showing then go from there.

*EDIT* Car is magically back to normal, and all battery tests suggests that its fine. Odd, hopefully doesnt happen again
