NZ944 2 Report post Posted March 30, 2015 Hello, I have been a member here for 7 years but have yet to own a BMW! Looking to change that now. I am looking for a really nice E30, and am willing to pay for it. Preferably: - 325i, but will consider 323i/318i too. - Manual (a must) - Low ks.. relatively - Stock standard (or very subtle tasteful mods) - Service history would be nice - Body must be in good condition (ie. no rust or damage) - Everything else in relatively good condition (for its age) I may be dreaming, but if you are out there, send me a PM or reply here. If you are wondering who its going to, I am a car and driving enthusiast who loves daily driving Euros. I have owned: Mercedes 190E 2.3, Mercedes 320E, Porsche 944, Porsche 944 Turbo, Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9, VW Golf VR6. I service and work on my own cars (up to a certain difficulty). I like to keep them stock or close to it. Thanks for reading!
pldubs 308 Report post Posted March 31, 2015 I realize this isnt exactly what youre after but its a reasonably cheap good buy if you throw a manual in it.1990 325i SE ( Map light mirror, Side skirts, sport select, headlight adjusters etc etc )AutoWof / RegNZ New, I am 2nd owner290,000ksCambelt/wpump/thermostat etc done under 1000ks ago.Head has been acid dipped, crack tested, hardness tested, valves refaced blah blah blah and it has minor porting and a funky cam that makes it go like the clappersRegarding the damage to the drivers side, According to the last owner ( guy in his 60s ) it was kicked in by some " Hooligans " But it will be tidied up before sale with a combo of tidy second hand doors and paintless repairs/touching up the wee paint imperfections.Pretty much, Euroriffic and I trailered it back from Winton last year and have chipped away at it since then. Currently I daily drive it but as I am going overseas and Euroriffic has no need for another car its gota go.Thinking $3000 ono as is or $3500 firm with panel damage fixed. NZ944 2 Report post Posted March 31, 2015 Tyler, Thank you for the nice post, but I am going to have to decline your offer. Mostly because I am specifically looking for a lower mileage manual example. Good luck overseas!
