KEMPTY 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2015 I have just brought a 2002 318i, travelled 144,000kms (import). A couple of issues, first it has a vibration in the back end. Do the half axles, or the driveshaft, of diff for that fact have any common faults. Other thought was brake dics's not running true.Tyres seem fine. Second issue sometimes rattles when first started after sitting awhile and cold. Suspect timing chain, or maybe a oil pressure valve allowing oil to drain out of the engine while sitting. Once running quiet as a mouse and starts fine for the rest of the day. (No noise) Any help on these issues would be appreciated. Cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
