musccoo 82 Report post Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) Hey guys, Previous owner of my car changed the odo gears when they burnt out and it stopped ticking. Unfortunately he didn't realise he put the wrong gears in, so now my 65,000 mile odo is going up much faster in kilometers... Are there any gurus who could wind it back to the point where it should be if I changed the gears back to miles? hotwire 352 Report post Posted June 21, 2015 Not overly hard to "clock" an E30 cluster. I have done a few to S/H units I have sold so that they match original cluster milage

_BRS_ 209 Report post Posted June 22, 2015 You can get the correct ones from here http://store.garagistic.com/ocart/odometer-gears/e30-odometer-repair , just have to select the ones specific to your type and i think shipping is reasonable.

turbolizard 38 Report post Posted June 22, 2015 I bought some of these Garagistic gears. They are effective, easy to fit and good price. They might take a while to arrive as they have been a bit slow on delivery of a few things to me, on a couple of orders, but everything has always worked out.
