hansinge1102 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 (edited) Hello~ I own a 2005 530i E60 with no mods yet, but I plan to upgrade my 17' stock rims to 19s. I went to a store last week and checked out the price and all. 19s were roughly aroud $4500 for the German-made Beyern wheels and GoodYear GS-D3s. There was another 19' wheel by Ruotecompany, the E60 M5's replica. They were awesome and the price was similar to the beyern. It looked perfect for my car, but I'm just unsure about the company Ruotecompany since I've never heard of it. I tried to go into the site, but it was under construction so... Are the quality ok? Anyway, I'm also considering BBS CHs. I think they look great. Do any of you guys know the approximate price of it? ( the whole set) And also, do you know any wheel repair&polishing services in Auckland NorthShore? Plus, a polished, shiny wheels will look better on a Dark, Mystic blue car right? Thanks a lot! cainchapman 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 Not on the North Shore, but Arrow Wheels in Avondale is the recommended place to clean your wheels up.

bmwsparkle 3 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 you could possibly go for a set of RX2 BBS, they are already polished and are 3 peice. but BBS CH would look great on an E60, what about some gold centred BBS LMs?
Dnz 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 BBS are timeless. If you put up some pics of your cars, and the rims, im sure someone could pchop em nice for you. And i congratulate you on not choosing chrome! :pimp:
Jazzbass 1 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 I'm not sure how 19' wheels would look? ' mean feet - therefore 19' means 19 feet diameter buggers - WOW!!! Would look a bit like Bigfoot!! And i congratulate you on not choosing chrome!+
hansinge1102 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 Thanks guys for the replies. I got some pics of CHs on E60s. They look awesome. But it would've looked better if they were polished, since they come in Plasma and bright silver. Chrome will look horrible on Bimmers I think (My opinion) Oh, and JazzBass, my mistake there on the ' thing. and BMWSPARKLE, thanks for your alternative but no thanks, I just wanna stick to the CH. But could anyone please give me an approximate price for the CH? I'm guessing about 5grand for the whole set? or more is it? And can u get the wheels polished after you've purchased them? Got a lot of questions, Thanks!!
conrod 1 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 And also, do you know any wheel repair&polishing services in Auckland NorthShore? Brugar Engineering in Barrys Point Road do excellent repairs at a friendly price(I use them a lot, shameless free plug!) although I do not think they do polishing.
