325_driver 422 Report post Posted February 7, 2006 right i need some urgent clues here so clutch went on ages ago, we finally got time. in doing so just recent we fixed a bit of exaust difficulties now in doing so ironically it started back firing and all soughts of nonsence problems ( the car doesnt start now ) it cranks, ironically the fuel pump could have died right ? when i tried to accelerate, it would start back firing and pinging ( in nuetral ) so it will idle fine but every now and then when the foot goes down, when it decides to it will back fire like bugger, revs wont go any where and judder. ( itll run fine every now and then ) now my guesses, there was a lot of crc and all that nonsence while we were mucking round with the exaust. could that be detonating ? ( thats the least probable cause ) how ever, it smells rich .... could it be a air flow sensor of some sought .... thus causing it to back fire some how ? i wouldnt know but this problem is B S so some one pleasssssse help me out. im giving steve a ring if you guys have no clue and any clue would be great cheers dude Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
