E28 parts

Does anybody know of any E28's being wrecked in (or around) the Wellington area?

I need some front brake discs.

Does anyone know the best place (either shop or online) to buy new discs?

Any help appreciated.

seriously, no point going 2nd hand discs, discs are so cheap these days

ring and ask for scotty on (06) 3230903 (central auto parts), tell him cameron sent you, and he'll do a you an awesome price. Chuck some cool road/semi race pads in there while you're there too, theyre cheap enough

, yes new disc are cheap . about $200 a pair .

also if yoy get some e34 , e32 brake calipers you can upgrade your braking system to bigger brakes .

then just buy new pads andf discs.

i have some 2nd hand discs , calipers etc from all the models .

I would love to do the E32/34 upgrade, but that means bigger wheels (currently running stock 14 inch) and the whole thing starts to get too expensive.

Any recommendation on pads?

I'm intending to go for fast/hard street pads. Anyone have any brand preference or experience?

ive used ferodo excel, theyve been a v good fast road pad with light track use, scotty will be able to deal you them cheap too.

Im looking to go something a bit more "bitey" next time tho, this year wanting to get onto the track some more. Looking at the hawk hp plus and mintex pads.

i think they will fit under 14" rims , but i also have some beasket weaves 15' like whats on sparkles car . they suit it well .
