FYI, you need less than 500hp to do a 10sec quarter. well u can have ur little under 500 hp engine trying to pull a 2 tonne car down the quarter mile an see what happens.. dont try make me look dumb, id like to see a 300-400hp car pull 2 tonnes of steel down a quarter mile in 10 secs........ an i no its the same thing, but i was letting people no it had a blower not a scoop or somthing different, as i said, dont try make me look dumb Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Okay, so a '65 weighs 3720 pounds = 2.1tonnes, now, with a 900hp at the bags 454, you should be doing 9.3 quarters, wth a trap speed of 145. I can dig it :thumb: I was assuming your old mans car might have had some weight stripped out of it, as i've never seen a car doing 9sec quarters with with a factory interior etc, but if he is, fair play!
