what wheels do you like the most

Recommended Posts

took the coupe in for wheel balance and alignment(possible tyres) today , was informed the right front wheel was a bit bent .(have already repaired 2 of the wheels from the accident ) and fitted 2 new tyres .

so i decided to just put the other wheels i had laying around they are MK motorsport 17" by 8.5" made in germany by borbet for MK motorsport .

often fitted to the 8 series wide body kitted cars etc .

brought 2 more tyres . now it drives sraight and no more wheel wobles .

will get the original wheel sorted out .

but i still have to get the MK ones repainted and cleaned up .

so just wondering waht you guys think of the 2 different sorts .

which ones should i keep and which ones to sell .

first 3 pics of the originals .

number 4,5 and 6photo's of the MK motorsport type

Sell the MK's, they suit older bimmers, those current wheels really suit the E36 style.

I like the second one on your car more~

maybe I'm old fashioned~

I prefer the second set also.

The first set just seem too 'skinny' or something for the car. To my tastes, the second set have more 'meat' - more balls about them.

But its your car.

Still once you get the red shed spinners on....

had a quote today to machine the lip and repaint . about $400.

but maybe i should just get them machined and poished might even be cheaper .

ps: there actually MK motorsport wheels , just cast by the borbet group .
