Jardfish 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2019 (edited) I am currently in the process of swapping my m43 to an m50b25. I removed the exhaust from a parts car (1997 328i) and wondering if it is suitable to bolt onto the m50. From what i have gathered, the 2x O2 sensors in the m52 manifold wont work with the m50 (please correct me if im wrong). Will it just be easier to buy an entire m50 exhaust system? Or how do i get around using this exhaust. Cheers Edited December 4, 2019 by Jardfish
Eagle 1679 Report post Posted December 4, 2019 M50 and M52 should all bolt up the same, there's probably a slight improve in the M52 system over the M50, replacing old cast iron manifold is always a plus. I dont what version or region of M50 you have, it may or may not have used O2 sensors, either way they can be used or removed and the holes plugged if not required.
