BMW E91 Window Trim Repair - Advice Please

Hi everyone,

I'm asking for recommendations on how to restore the exterior trim around the windows on my E91.

As you can see in the image it's looking quite weathered. Polish has no effect and I even tried 2000 grit sandpaper which also had no effect. It seems to be some very tough finish (possibly powder coated?).

Any tips would be appreciated.

It's probably worth considering replacing the lower three in your pic, I don't think it's that difficult/expensive. As for the top bit that runs the length of the car, I Plasti-dipped my E36 ones years ago and they're still fine, some people just paint over.
