Hi merry Christmas and happy new year to all.

i am new to bmw and have a 2012 523i with  autosure mechanical warranty. Recently I started to feel vibration on the cabin especially on motorways also when breaking. Is that with engine and gearbox mount? I also feel rattle from engine bay. can i fix those via autosure insurance.

thanks

It will depend on your specific Autosure policy - bushings are usually considered wear items under 'Mechanical Breakdown' policies, but I recently was pleasantly surprised that my Provident warranty covered control arm bushings and oil leaks.

Suggest taking it to a mechanic who will be able to properly diagnose and do all the dealing (negotiating) with the warranty provider on your behalf.

Are you with autosure? Do you have to pay excess for arm bushing and oil leaks separately.?

I'm with Provident  and Yes unfortunately - two excesses.
