Woops - wrong bolt dimensions on spacers

Recommended Posts

It looks like I screwed up.

I bought some adapter-style spacers on which the bolts are M14x1.5. I bought them a while ago, and just now noticed that the lug bolts for my wheels are a bit shorter (and 17mm v 19mm head diameter).

These are the dimensions for my car (M12x1.5 bolts):

I half-attached a spacer to a wheel, and it seems to fit pretty tightly. I haven't tried to attach the spacer to my hub yet because I don't have anywhere to test it until this weekend.

My question is, can I still use these, or will it be an issue? The bolt pitch of the M12's are the same, and they fit snugly into the holes on the spacer.

Be a lot easier to understand what you have going on if you could add a photo or diagram showing the spacer in question. Does it change the PCD or number of bolts as well as be a spacer ? Do you bolt the spacer to the hub and then bolt the wheel to the spacer ? Etc... etc...
