2773MB 0 Report post Posted April 19 Buying a NZ new 2019 320i Msport and signed on for a 3 year “warranty” under the advice that it covered everything aside from consumables… After agreeing to this and being sent the policy document, turns out it’s just Provident MBI. Everything online says that MBI is a waste of time and if anything major goes wrong it would be CGA anyway, and if it’s not major it’ll probably cost less than the $3000 I’m paying for the MBI. Interested to hear anyone’s thoughts on keeping it or not?
Gaz 1060 Report post Posted April 20 CGA won't cover you for 3 years. Mbi is handy because if something goes wrong you pay your excess and repairs get done, no struggling to find 1500+ for possible repair. Plus you can have several repairs which would stack up. I'm not familiar with the common issues on the G20s. At the end of the day it's each to their own.
