E38 728I 1996 Needs a new keybarrel

Hi there

My e38 has started not being able to turn the ignition cause the key barrel is broken apparently.

does anyone know the best way to source a new key barrel?

I'm currently contacting bmworkshop and they are looking into it but they don't sound confident.
