E30SIX 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2006 (edited) Just wondering if the 318is Motorsport srings would go on a E36 328i?, or would the 328i require the 328i motorsport springs due to the increase in weight and so on. Thanks again Edited June 13, 2006 by E30SIX
Guest Andrew Report post Posted June 13, 2006 would say they are different spring rates - so get the correct spring for the car.
westy 614 Report post Posted June 13, 2006 Aftermarket springs are different for 6s & 4s.Assume the same applies here.
rolls_on_19 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2006 I found the spring rates completely different for 4 and 6 cylinder springs. I tried a few different sets of springs to try get my car to sit right cos it's got 19's and the interior is stripped. I settled on a set of A/C Schnitzer springs a while ago. From memory they were for an E36 325 sedan, and they're in my E36 318 coupe. They've worked out best with the new weight distribution. Although the back sits a little high when unloaded
