Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted June 16, 2006 The heater has packed a sad inside my E30 and dumped a load of water inside, can I stop the water from going there, I've disconnected the hoses on the firewall side, do I close them off individually, or can I connect them together? No heater doesn't faze me, but will it cause any problems with overheating etc. Thanks, David.
Gus 5 Report post Posted June 16, 2006 you can connect em together but a heater is great....for demisting and also cooling the engine bay if visco fan stops working.....why not just replace the core?
Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted June 16, 2006 An idea, but how big a job is it, just done an engine swap in one of my 318's, how hard is it compared to that? Thanks.
bravo 35 Report post Posted June 16, 2006 (edited) Are you kidding? You've done an engine swap but worried about a heater core swap? It's a piece of piss in comparison. There is information in your Bentley manual - section 14:11. Edited June 16, 2006 by bravomikewhiskey
