heater bypass E30

Recommended Posts

The heater has packed a sad inside my E30 and dumped a load of water inside, can I stop the water from going there, I've disconnected the hoses on the firewall side, do I close them off individually, or can I connect them together? No heater doesn't faze me, but will it cause any problems with overheating etc. Thanks, David.

you can connect em together

but a heater is great....for demisting and also cooling the engine bay if visco fan stops working.....why not just replace the core?

An idea, but how big a job is it, just done an engine swap in one of my 318's, how hard is it compared to that? Thanks.

Are you kidding? You've done an engine swap but worried about a heater core swap? It's a piece of piss in comparison. There is information in your Bentley manual - section 14:11.
