Mad_Max 234 Report post Posted Friday at 02:44 AM Having a clear out of things I haven't got time to sort (as may have to move again unfortunately). This one is a 1997 E39 535i, with a trans issue. Bought it a while back with a known trans issue, found and bought a "known good" trans (read: worse than the original) and got wof and reg on it, only to have that second trans develop issues shortly after with cavitation and signs of water throughout it, so it got parked up. Was quite comfortable to cruise in, and the V8 does have a nice note without droning. Reg is on hold, last wof passed with no issues, just a comment that the tyres were getting low or on their way out. The bad: Trans issue (a 5HP24 to replace this one will be supplied with the car, this one was removed by a friend and has been stored undercover since removal about 2 weeks ago). Needs heater controls (I should be able to source and supply this). Missing one patch lead from the headlights. Clear coat is flaking badly from being parked up outside. Needs a damn good clean inside and out. Asking $1,400 ONO for members on here and will be listed on FB shortly for a bit more, I can help with delivery up to a reasonable distance.
