How much can I lower car without needing toe/camber arms

Recommended Posts

Recently got a 130i and am looking to install some coilovers and lower the car a bit. How much can I lower the car without needing toe or camber arms. If I do need aftermarket arms, who stocks them in NZ

You can get some more camber by using M3 front arms and completing the camber pin mod, that combination will give you an extra degree or so - both done in these pictures.

On coilovers, lowered no rubbing, 18's, e36 offsets, 255r/225f:

Coilover, no rubbing, 18's, e87 offsets, 255r/225f:

Could probably go another 10mm lower f/r with the e87 offsets.

Do you know how much camber front and rear you can get with the factory arms? No issues with not enough adjustment for toe in the rear with factory arms?

Factory front arms and camber pin mod is around +0.2-0.3 degrees. There's no other adjust-ability with stock parts.

Rear is also very little with eccentric bolts, but you don't want a lot of rear camber if you want the car to work properly, it's RWD after all.

Edit: I see you asked about rear toe, not rear camber, duh on me. Rear toe is easy, you only need either zero or a tiny bit of in right? Stock parts can easily accommodate that.
