Vass 1059 Report post Posted July 6 The plastic valve cover itself could be cracked, seems to be quite a common occurrence. Worth checking it over thoroughly every time it's off, cracks can be hard to spot being black plastic and caked in gunk. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Toksis 3 Report post Posted July 6 is there a way to fix it if it is cracked? The spark plug pipe too is leaking little oil. Even I replaced the spark plug pipe in cylinder 4. I thought maybe tighten it more than 10nm? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Vass 1059 Report post Posted July 6 I wouldn't tighten it more than that, those threads are really easy to strip out. Wouldn't mess around repairing the valve cover either, just straight replace.
