ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted June 26, 2006 Hey as most of you know my car took a big whack in the right hand side, just wondering if these guards will fit my car? also my car does not have the side repeaters, and these panels have holes for them. Would it be best to cover them up or to hunt and hunt to find ones with no holes? or just splice a wire from teh front repeaters to each of these? E30stz 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2006 you should have wiring for the side repeaters. AFAIK All E30's have side repeaters, its just some of them are on the front bumper (US Spec). Finding US spec fenders will probably proove prettty damn hard seeing as there are very few in NZ, I've never seen one anyway.
bumpstop325 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2006 (edited) You can do both. Depends on if you want side markers or not. Wire then in or weld them up. It not like you going to repaint them cause of this. Ebay the US fenders. There are factory fittings for Two set of markers up the front. You only need the two side black plastic bits, and buy some already smoked sidies. Gus 5 Report post Posted June 27, 2006 get those and weld some plate behind then fill it in....wont be able to tell once painted...helluva lot easier than trying to find non side repeater guards (came on the really early cars)
