savvi 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2006 can some one tell me if the afm has to be on level or in identical posistion as it was from factory, cause im making myself a custom air box similar to andrews race car and it will probly have to be on a more of a angle towards the ground , plus im wondering that there shouldnt b any issues with the cold air box when going 4 warrant Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kerrynzl 3 Report post Posted August 13, 2006 The AFM is an electrical device, as long as ALL air entering the engine goes thru the AFM it should be OK. Ive had my fair share of trouble with it, and make sure repositioning doesnt cause the ICV to be in a funny position either. mind you i got a reverse manifod on my e28 so things might be a little different. be sure to post pics when you done.
