Gus 5 Report post Posted September 4, 2006 im running 6.5"'s..not all fit, they need to be shallow enough. mine are infinity reference 6.5's. or you could go for something like andy and buy 'better' soundstream 6.5's that you never actually get round to putting in
Guest Spargo Report post Posted September 4, 2006 Gus, are your infinitys the reference series or the kappa perfect series?

nz320i 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2006 so the diameter of a 6.5" will fit, i can sort the depth out just by buying shallower ones, also will i still get good bass sound of a mosfet 50x4 headunit, my amp is only a 2 channel and not sure which speakers to amp, or still run sub..basically i want deep bassy front mids, and tweeters, my mums diahatsu can put more bass out the front speakers than i can at the mo! Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted September 4, 2006 (edited) Amp the fronts and forget the sub or buy another amp. Strongly agree.Havent got round to puttin my sounds in my car yet but do the front speakers as good as you can, decent components will give a good mid/high and amping the fron 6.5's will sound awesome. Seperate 4 channel amp,and amp the 6x9's (dont know if you got them but thats what I got atm) and the sub off that amp. Will sound wicked unless you listen to hardout ph fat gang**** stuff.I like how it sounds for the music I listen to(metal, rock, acoustic etc) I got a 4 channel 850 watt Monzar(crappy asian import off tard me) you can have for $50 if you want some where to start.IF your in aucks you can borrow it if you want. Edit:just realised your in CHCH but can borrow it anyway haha Cheers Ashkan Edited September 4, 2006 by blackbma
