Gaz 1060 Report post Posted October 11, 2006 So i finally got sick of having a shitload of cds floating around my car so I decided to bite the bulliet and get a ipod and an adaptor. So like all adaptors it needs to be plugged in the CD changer out. Here inlies my problem - I cant get the f@(king thing out. Its a Pionneer DEHP7750MP and ive tried levering it out with a screw driver, i took the glovebox out and tried to push it out but it appears i have missed a couple of screws somewhere which i cant seem to find. Any tips? Cheers Gary
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted October 11, 2006 Did it come with a tool? My one came with 2 fork like things that you shove down the sides and pull out.
DCEIVN 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2006 you need a tool to remove headunit usually - kind of like another hurdle for thieves to cross. Pop down to any local car audio store and they should be able to pop it out for you - only a 2 second job
