hell no ! Saw your thread on trademe and personally i wouldnt split it from ur engine for anything less than around what the engine itself was worth so maybe $250. Its a huge pain in teh arse selling the rest of the engine and there is some work involved. Tell the guy to buy the engine. You have to weigh up whether its worth more splitting it from the engine or just keeping it together.

Split the gearbox from the engine, is worth more separate.

Yeah, I'm with Andy, the rest of the motor isn't worth anything without the head, I wouldn't let it go for less than $250 to $300.

Last head i sold on Trade Me, went for $500.00.

That had been recond though.

M20 heads are known for cracking, if its in good order then its worth every bit of $300.00. as is.

More if given a valve grind.

My 5 cents.
