cainchapman 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 4.7l V8, 337kW & 470Nm No GTV is that good. I do agree they are a great car.
ThreeOneEight 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 I loved the 1990s GTV coupe (but not the convertible), loved that mad diagonal up the side and the strip lights at the back. Maybe I should buy an Alfa next?

tintop 10 Report post Posted November 7, 2006 yum yum Once you have owned an alfa you have a different perspective of things, you put up with the mind of their own electrics and dodgy build quality.
cainchapman 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2006 (edited) Only 500 to be built. Like the Enzo, purchase is by application and acceptance, not just because you can afford it. Jazzbass 1 Report post Posted November 7, 2006 Damn ugly front view!! Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed how the grill on late model Alfas tend to look a tad like female genitalia???
efirty 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 (edited) I think one of these will be at Big Boys Toys this weekend. It will be good to see one in the flesh And yes im glad im not the only one who had noticed alfa's new 'fanny' front grills Edited November 8, 2006 by mtbboy
cainchapman 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 Definitely won't be at Big Boys Toys. It's already left Australasia. Bummer, otherwise I'd make the effort to go.
OLLIE 26 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 wow it's an ugly alpha once again. woo hooooo edit: it actually has frigen awesome lines, over all it's very sexy but completely let down by the details such as the front end!! just a big shame really. tintop 10 Report post Posted November 9, 2006 Compared to pretty much any post '80s BMW it has pretty radical styling. When you buy an Alfa, its a purchase of the heart rather than the head. Sure its gonna break down, then fall to pieces and cost you both arms and maybe your leg to keep running, but my god the sound, the drive, the feeling it gives you when you drive it and the looks... You have to have owned one to appreciate them. My dream would be an M3 that looks like an Alfa 159.
