Viscous fan clutch replacement

Recommended Posts

Looking at replacing the viscous clutch, sounds pretty easy in the bentley manual.

I'm guessing you have to take the fan shroud off and then undo the nut (reverse thread) from underneath with a 32mm spanner.

Any hassles I am likely to encounter?

No, Your'e onto it, with the right spanner - needs to be pretty thin to get between hub & water pipe (if motronic) remember reverse thread then give spanner a sharp twack with a hammer. Obviously reverse to refit.

Cheers

Grant
