Guest Ken Report post Posted November 28, 2006 doesnt state what BMW stands for, does it stand for anything at all? i know that the symbol is of the rotor blades on a plane, becuase they used to develope planes or still do? Bayerische Motoren Werke = Barvarian Motor Works The symbol represents a spinning propellor, a legacy of their production of aero engines early in the last century.
