e30 or e36

Recommended Posts

My bro just got an e36 325, took me 4 a ride in it and it goes pritty well...and i woundered what goes better an e30 325 or a e36 325, i know the e36 has more power but the e30 is lighter...which goes better and handles better?

Depends who you ask, Obviously a Vanos M50B25 E36 is going to be more powerful, but E30's as you say are lighter and general opinion is that they handle more responsively.

M50B25 5-Speed E30 Coupe ftw.

I agree.

E30, no questions asked, hands down. E30.

Kthnx.

Well not quite.. the truth would be M50B25 Turbo E30 Coupe 5-Speed ftw.

But M50B25 E30 > M50B25 E36

Yeah man.

Buy the e30 and then put a m50 in that. More power in a lighter car

another question that could be said is...what looks better :P

That's where things get opinionated :D

There's something about a certain white e30 coupe with a black grill that does it for me though..

They're both very different looking cars, can't really say which is better looking..

depends, if your chasing tail the E36 would be the better bet. However the e30's do have a classic line about them. another thing with e36 is all you can really do is Mtech kit, clears, lower and wheels.

yeah thats right guys. hahaha definantly a e30 based forum here ive noticed and its all good :)

personally i like newer shape cars.. but the above poster has got it spot on, cant do a hell of a lot with an e36.

but e30 from my point of view is much more performance orientated.. thus if i was starting a speed project, id go e30...but im lazy/poor/ and incapable of looking at a car that doesnt go for long periods of time

anyways..you gotta love an a/m turbo'd e30 :D!!!
