eko 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2007 Welcome back ! Can you tell me more about you DIY smoked H/lights Im interested to know how Popular mod here in the UK! Heatgun to carefully take the lenses off,bit tediuos but worth the effort. The out headlights are easy, just pull out the chrome look part and spray Black,re bond the lense back on and done. The inner(main beam) lights require a cross making up from 2 seperate pieces, then painted Black and bonded into place, bond the lense back on giving the illusion they are Black! Hope this helps! eko 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2007 Can it be any spray can of black or does it need to be heat repellent stuff ? well i have read that some guys have used heat resistant paint but i never did. I just used Satin Black rattle can paint and have had no problem so far after 6 months! Give it a go,looks ace on any BMW!
