E-39 with TV head unit upgrade...

Want to put an MP3 player head unit into my E-39 528i which has a TV screen etc.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for that?

Would love to talk to someone who has done it.

Basically:

Remove and discard:

Display

Radio tuner

TV tuner

CD changer

You can keep and re-use the OEM amp.

Note carefully that once you have removed the display you won't be able to change / reset any of your on-board computer functions, or any vehicle settings that were previously controlled via the bordmonitor.
