Painted Bottles..

Ok.. So.. I have a pre f/l e30 that looks very similar to Em's except I have bottles on mine. Thinking of painting them black similar to ones on e30tech picture.

What you guys reckon? Who has done this and which black looks good?

in all honesty what have you got to loose lol.

it'll be different to every other standard e30.

but there is the danger it will look like you've got 4 spacey's on.

i rekon; go for it.

At the moment I'm thinking just straight black, save having to fiddle round doing the lip.

What colour though :/

Satin, Flat, Matt, Gloss?

Possibly even Charcoal?

personally i would go for a darkish grey. if you paint the whole rim i guess you could sand back the rim at a later stage? then attack it with autosol.

The thing is, I have some mint tyres on some bottles that are kinda crap in terms appearance but perfectly straight so it's just a matter of deciding which colour to go with. Obviously I want something that will last & look good.
