jochen 4 Report post Posted February 13, 2007 had a crazy sunday idea and would like some feed back, trade me had an add for a tv/nav board computer video display4;3 for a e39 walnut etc,etc for about 4 hunde states about 5000 new what is involved to put one in a e39 that has not got one and what benifits would it have. is this jochen area of x purr tees!!!! I saw what was for sale. That is just the display and keyboard and tape deck. You will also need: Nav computer (not a ex-Japan one!) TV tuner (optional) CD changer (optional, can use existing if you have one) Amp (can use existing if present) Radio tuner GPS antenna Retro-fit wiring loom Brackets nuts bolts etc I've seen complete fits selling for around $3,000 to $4,000 NZD You might be able to get it as cheap as $2,500 if you shop around and be patient If all the parts are present, you can complete the install in a day. But that's probably pushing it a bit. Make it a weekend to be sure. Then you need to update the GM and SA code for your car as well. Jochen
