Guest Spargo Report post Posted February 21, 2007 Oh wow, this is a seriously sexy car These are the leaked shots of Audi’s stunning A5 coupé which was due for an official unveiling at the end of the month. The pictures appeared on several German motoring blogs last night and sources at Audi have confirmed that they are genuine rather then the product of a frenzied photoshop expert. Audi A5 (image © Audi) The pictures reveal that the A5, a rival to the enormously successful BMW 3-Series Coupé, takes strong design cues from the smaller TT, particularly the headlights and imposing grille. The clear delineation between the bonnet and front wings and the swage line running along the side of the car are new themes for Audi however as are some more rectilinear touches such as the trailing edge of the boot. The interior is also revealed and there are few surprises here but it’s bound to be well screwed together.
