E46 325i wagon - thinking of buying!

Hi everyone im considering an E46 325i Wagon.

2000 cosmoschwarz metallic black

14xxxxx kms

Jap import in may 2011

Has aftermarker m3 front bumper and msport 2 rear bumper

Interior is fabric and ugly steering wheel but its ok

Car is non sport

Has sunroof!!

Looks okay but exhaust is quite loud..

Very vroom vroom sounds nice but odd cuz it looks standard??

Its an m54b25 motor i think

Comes with bilstein adjustable sus certed

and volk racing wheels

Drives pretty nice

Price is 8250 on trademe

They are a dealer that sells trade in cars.

Has a sticker from bellars motor works

Whats peoples opinion?

Its pretty rough condition wise but mechanically seems decent.

Any feedback plz

Also considering pre purchase inspection but they only allow mobile ones so cant take it to bmw or bmw specialist

$8250 sounds (to me) like a lot if it's not in at leat good condition.

Give Bellars a call. See what they have to say - looks like they've seen it fairly recently.

Mmmmm, the 330i and the 328i look to be better choices for my dollar.

Aftermarket wheels, adjustable suspension and aftermarket head unit throw up the warning flags for me.

The 330i looks to be the pick of the bunch, even though it has beige leather

Appears to be a higher specced car, looks like the m-sport seats too. Would love to know what the sticker on the vanos cover says. We've got a B30 powered 5er as the family car, moves quite well for a 2 tonne wagon - reckon the 3er would go even better!

Gut feeling counts for a lot when buying used, would definitely be giving Bellars a call to hear what they have to say! Good luck!

The fact that i had to put this up already tells me im 80% not that keen. Looked like a decent car and drove fine but the exhaust sound put me off and gut tells me its not quite right.

What is this 330 ur talking about? (I had a 330i msport sedan before and they go bloody well)

Was on Tardme last night, was at ellis uttings in panmure IIRC Asking similar dollars to the 325i too
