Yeah our ride hieght seems to be much the same. Do u still have more lowering avaliable
In the platforms to go lower?
I would post a pic of my stance but uploads seems to be disabled?
-
I have read the post where a couple of you guys went head to head on BC versus GC (?) coilovers.
But one thing i cannot find is someone who has a picture of ride height with a full platform suspension set up.
That is a complete coilover front and rear.
I currently run custom fronts on my E30 but am wanting rears now and am considering buying a full kit.
XYZ distributors however said they can make a custom rear to suit how i want mine to ride, which I thought was nice.
I want low, but i dont want super rough.
Cn anyone who has a complete setup help shed somelight on this and/ or post a pic of you car so i can compare.
Thanks
Regards
Travis

Hey gary, i too have had this problem with lack of servicing in np.
I too havnt had gd dealings with subaru european.
I trust my wifes E46 M touring with EnergyCity Ford. Ask for Craig Neilson the servicing manager.
I have rung BMW NZ to get advise on the correct oils to use for engine and trans etc tho,
And supplied these myself to garrentee the right prooduct to be used.
You will find BMW NZ will try sell u there engine oil for $280 but i asked the guy in parys to get real,
and he told me it was castrol edge haha.
The only down fall is ford cant reset your service spedo, maybe that rob guy could help there?
Cheers

Hey Travis,
if you want to get into Performance Car or have some nice photos taken il have a talk to Jason, (SIR E30) and he should be able to sort something for you of high quality.
Blair
Cheers Blair,
Turns out my 'best man' is Dan Phillips who used to work and write for perf car couple of years back. He is keen to write the piece and get the photos done and submit it to the current editor to see if its worthy enough.
Cheers tho bro, your cars looking good to man, loven the rims
-
good to see someone that keeps there projects
yeah cheers guys. its been well overdue to finish it, having kids since we got married has put the brakes on spending time on it.
Keen to get it in 'performance car' mag if they are keen, it is the one thing i had always hope to achieve with it

Thought I had better pull the old girl out of the shed and finish her off. had it tuned over 2 years ago by Andre at Speedtech in Wellington, who did an awesome job!!
Its just been a summer crusier ever since
222kw @ the wheels @ 6242 rpm 16 pound boost
381 Nm of torque @ 5085 rpm
looking forward to spending time finishing the interior etc this winter

hey bro, i gotta quesion for you...
how is the rear end holding up on your car? i think its just the 5puck clutch setup with the 750kg nismo pressure plate i have thats causing me to go thru cvs etc like butter but just curious.
i seem to be the only one realy going thru this problem haha.
looks nice and staunch bro im realy liking it ay
Exactly what drifty said aye, i have had no worries with mine at all, they certainly are bigger than the 318 and 320 ones!
I have the puk clutch etc also and she hasnt failed me yet, but it still is early days and there is more horse's to come yet..

nice work tell when he can fix up the number plate .. also love the blacked out look of your headlights.
Yeah the headlights look pretty cool, but im regretting the purchase, the hi-beam is arse and it might as well not even have lamps in them as they do nothing for you on the open road except light up the surrounding paddocks to your left and right!!
Go for the aluminium ones if any1 is considering buying them, as they have the reflective backs to them
Got a long way to go to catch yours naughty !
Ha, yeah even the guy said the same thing!!
-
Nice good spottin! Wouldnt be to hard to get her back up to class, a nice set of rims with the right offset would help, indicators put back in place etc
Ha, yeah he said he just got it on the road on friday and said it still needs a lot of work. its actually getting rotored as his mate has a rotor business so i will keep you all posted.
