Ok because i put the engine into the car it had the cat cut off is sometimes the cat got the oxy sensors in them? If it did have one where would i find the wires or where do they start from, because if it did have them the wires have fallen off or been cut pretty sure it had one when i brought it and the guy took it out now i cant find where to put it maybe it was in the or close to the cat which he cut off. I went to pickapart an got 2 oxy sensors off the manifold but my manifold has no holes so im guessing they would go somewhere else maybe. Thanks for your help too

Ok having a look at my car i decided i might try change the oxy sensors as its in limp mode but i cant find them do some of these engines come put without them?

I still need a few things for the conversion but have pedals and gearbox which is off m20 with clutch an flywheel

Thanks what if i throw a manual in it iv got one sittin here will that take it out of limp mode ive double checked everything am missing a couple of pipes off the air intake so pick a part it is tomo...

Ok are those the scanners that are on trademe? Or do i have to go to bmw or is there some way i can hook up a laptop to it with some sort of program thanks for your help

Yup i know the 2.5 was better it came without the engine thats why i done it an got everything for 250 with limp mode is that why the cog symbol is showing up on the dash? Ill also put what piping ive got here on i think only vacumn hose i dont have is the one at top of engine block that goes to the air intake is that very important?

Would the fact that i havent put all the piping on yet make it go into limp mode as i only tried it to see if it went properly before i put it all together properly

Ok just done an engie swap now the gearbox pretty mich just stays in 4th i think it goes reverse algood but put in any other gear an the car feels like its in top gear. Dont have any clue about these

i have 2 front springs theyre red last time i used them they blew my shocks it went so low dont know if was old shocks or the springs how much would you pay for them

Umm this happened to my old galant it had a hydrualic clutch and had the same sypmtoms ok so wat i did to fix it was bleed the brakes and clutch both one after the other this fixed my car for around two days however mine also needed a rubber washer in the gearbox which someone fixed after i had the car so if its the same sort of thing might just be air in it somewhere like mine just rebleed everything and see if it fixes it.
