yeah the speakers were made by nokia, as i said i took out the boxes and grinded and sanded them and fited them in and yeah sorry there were 4s in the back and i put 5.25's in and the fronts are already 5.25's.

Your in luck - i have recently had my sound system done and it blows the nuts of ya! Spent the weekend with a friend of my who is professional installer doing all of mine and its pretty straight forward. Heres what i did just for some ideas 2x 5.25 JBL 86w components in the front plus two teaters mounted on the door ( bout 260 at paralel import) Panasonic mp3 head deck which powers just the front components and tweaters. In the rear and this is where it gets slightly tricky. Took out the standard boxes and sanded and grinded them back to fit new 5.75 JBL component speakers and the new tweaters, re-mounted them with orignal covers etc and then ran them to the 2000w fushion amp mounted in the boot along with the 800w sub. And thats about it - will not distort till about 39 on the headdeck and by which point you pretty much dont wanna be sitting in the car. Just remember , if you want to hear any good sound put down one of the seats to allow the sound to travel through the car - if you have the seats up in a coupe you can pretty much deaden 80% of good sound. Actually it wasnt someone it was my retarded friend! backing out of a car park scraped his left front panel right the way along the drivers side and scraped the mag and dent and striped paint and scratched the bummer!!! booo hoooo! and it was looking so pretty now i have to wait over a week for it to be fixed! and thats my 2 cents

oh true? yeah that would be good! the only thing im worried is they wont be any lower than what is in there now, umm its ok not as good as when i had the standard mags on, they used to sit maybe and inch and a half under the gard now the gard is just above the tyres , but yeah front is to high! i will try post a pic.

well isis seeing as how i took my springs out and they are mtech lowered springs they are already as low as most the king springs i looked at , hence why i asked the question - noob! Sweet thanks dave

Hey guys ' Hoping for sum suggestions, i have a 1994 mtech 318 i have put 18s on and god it looks so much better, however its still kinda high now! it already has the lowered m susspension in it but it needs to be lower, some one mentioned compressing the springs but that can tend to a lean on one side of the car? any help would be good. Thanks :banghead:

so the otherday i was sitting thinking what would be a good personal plate for a black 318i with very illegal black tints, hmmmm a few idea's came to my head until i stumbled upon BLKOUT not suprisingly it was gone so i tried BLK0UT, and that was gone to (unsuprisingly), i was a little dissapointed, and so i thought man they could be anywhere and i went on with my day. So 2 days later im stading outside working having a ciggie and a 318i same as mine pulls up except with a metalic blue paint job and dark illegal tints , and what do i notice when i look down, BLK0UT! weird huh ! dont get me wrong was a nice as beamer tho. Just one of those weird moments in life, thanks for reading my pointless rant.

yeah my friend turbod his m3 and its cost him a a fair amount but it halls like a rocket! i would be much cheaper todrop a turbo engine in there ehy?
