Oh sweet as mate is that joint adjustable??? the pedal goes down more than half way aye and i have to take it for a wof just doesnt feel rite.

hey wonder if anyone had the same problem that i have. my 85 e30 320 brakes feel real crap in the fact that the pedal goes down half way before anything happens??? i have no air in the system what so ever. Is there a way of adjusting the pedal to get a better feel at all??

Hi i wonder if somone can give me some advice i have a 85 e30 320 manual it apperes to have the old style engine wiring. now im wanting to fit my 2.5 motor in it and the wiring harnes on the motor has the big screw plug to connect it to my car problem is my car doesent have that style plug???????? the 2.5 is out of a e34 1991 model any help would be cool

no way i didnt know that about the water. what are u putting the m50 into? and what power are they standard with vanos and without???

mean thanks mate its high kms 300.000 so a 15w50 would be heaps better im not sure if its the same motor as it doesent burn any oil ive just rebuilt the head as the guy i bought it off snapped the cam belt haha so new valves and valve train cam belt etc etc should last me a wile so i can hunt down a 2.5 non vanos m50 motor as for my idle control valve i took it off and cleaned it out it looks like its working ok as the thing turns ???

hey my m20 2.5 is around 170bhp standard right??? what sort of mods could i do to get it some more power e.g add bigger throttle body from another bmw motor?? different injectors from another bmw motor, ecu etc etc. also u say getting parts off e bay what e bay do u mean country???

hi guys just doing a motor service on my 1990 525i it has the m20 motor in it was wandering what is the correct engine oil to put in it? also my motor smells like its running way too rich what would be a course of this ?? also when the motor gets too normal running temp the idol goes up and down and will somtimes stall ??? any help would be cool thanks.

good on u mate that makes two of us. id like too see how much power i can get out of my 525 m20 motor before i turbo but would be looking into it there is a kit on trade me for the e36 its a turbo kit that has the turbo manifold and intercooler and i was wandering if it would fit the m20 engine????????? if so it would save a whole lot of farting around. also if any one knows what would be a good locking diff to put in my 5 what would i find one in? cheers clive

hi i have a m20 325 and need a head for it with all the cam and rocker gear eny idea if a 320 head would fit??? as im finding a 325 head hard to get hold of. also would the valves from a 320 head fit a 325 head and would i be able to run 320 cam gear on a 325 head? please somone hellllpppppp

hey i wonder if eny one could help with this my car smells real bad at idol of fuel but no pipes are leaking was told there is a device by the fuel filter its shaped like a canister and has some sort of foam on the bottom of it. when i had the car on the ramp u could feel the air coming out of the bottom and it stunk of raw fuel eny reason for this? also same car when i drive it and hold at 100k with a real stedy throttle pedal the engine surges just a little bit eny ideas what that could be? i was thinking air flow sensor????? its a sohc 318i engine 1990 e30 thanks guys and gals

i had the head and cam components all checked at a local repair shop just bent 5 valves and it snapped the rocker arm the man tells me there $58+gst per valve. il check bmw tommrow then thanks for that. also would it be worth fitting a funky cam i would think now would be a good time to do so,what does everyone recomend and what cost?

i need a set of exhaust and inlet valves and a rocker as mine sh*t out when the cam belt went poop. eny help would be mint ta.

hey im putting a e30 320i engine into my e30 325i bmw my car is a 89 not to sure what year the motor is but has the same engine loom plug. does enyone know if the wires are a different arangment in the plug ??? i dont want to put the two together and tern the key to find out i got melt down haha eny info would be cool guys and gals

hey guyes my 325 engine shat itself last weekend so time for a bit of a power plant im a mechanic and have a bit of electrical knoladge. id realy like to know how much of a game it is to fit an m50 motor into my e 30 i need to know all the mods i would need to do electrical, mounting moving (if needs be) exsaust water pipes etc etc also would my zf 320i manual gear box bolt onto the m50 with the flywheel thanks for the time guys its friday night and im off for a beeer yerrrrrrrrrrrr
